The Interview:
We begin by getting to know who our client is. How big is the family? Do you eat in or out and do both husband and wife cook? Are you a lefty ? Do you entertain? What are any special needs? How far can you reach? What appliances are needed for their lifestyle? Who is your architect? Will there be an interior designer working with you? Do you want us to do your general contract work or do you have your own person? What is your budget? When would you like to be finished with your project?
At our first visit we will carefully measure your space and coupled with our interview we will derive a budget for your job. Money is important. Everyone has a budget. Our budgets with you will include all the necessary parts to complete the project and includes a design retainer wherein your designer will work closely to secure every detail of the project; meticulous layout, wood species, colors, door samples, (your very own; no kidding!) countertops, interiors of each cabinet, lighting. hardware backsplashes, installation which all becomes known as 'fullfillment of contract.
